Emerson Royal has experienced a turning point at Flamengo, transforming early criticism into consistent performances on the pitch. The right-back, who has also filled in on the left side of defense, featured in the team's run to the Copa Libertadores semifinals. His solid form has placed him back on the radar of the Brazilian national team, which he represented between 2019 and 2023.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has announced the date and time for the postponed 21st-round Campeonato Brasileiro match between Chapecoense and Vasco. Originally delayed due to Vasco's Copa Sudamericana commitments, the fixture will take place on November 14 at 20:30 (Brasília time) at the Arena Condá.

Additionally, the CBF scheduled two upcoming matches for Corinthians in the Brasileirão. The 35th-round encounter against Botafogo is set for November 18 at 21:30 at the Neo Química Arena. Shortly after, Corinthians will face Atlético-MG on November 25 at 20:00 at the Arena MRV, occurring four days following the Copa Sudamericana final scheduled for November 21.
