  • The CBF has requested a criminal probe into threats made by a Corinthians fan leader against match officials.
  • Master sponsor Esportes da Sorte has notified the club of its intention to terminate their R$ 150 million annual contract.
  • Corinthians is currently negotiating with the company to prevent a contract cancellation without a penalty fee.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has approached the São Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office to request a criminal investigation into Alexandre Domênico, the president of the Gaviões da Fiel supporters' group. The request follows social media posts in which the leader, known as Alê, directed threats toward referees. In his messages, Domênico alleged that officials have been "stealing" from Corinthians at their home stadium and claimed that the organized fan group is aware of where referees stay prior to matches. The Public Prosecutor's Office is currently reviewing the CBF's request.

Simultaneously, Corinthians is dealing with a legal dispute regarding its primary sponsorship. Esportes da Sorte, the club's master sponsor, has issued a notification seeking to terminate its agreement without paying a cancellation fine. The contract, which was renewed in February and runs until December 2029, is valued at R$ 150 million per year. While the sponsorship is currently suspended, Corinthians has expressed disagreement with the termination request and has initiated negotiations with the company to resolve the matter.
