The matches are scheduled for November 14 and 17, both taking place at the National Stadium in Singapore. Rodrigo Caetano, the team's executive coordinator, explained that the selection criteria included avoiding players from Brazilian Série A title contenders Flamengo and Palmeiras, and generally limiting call-ups to a maximum of one player per Série A club.
Among the notable inclusions, Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Marlon Gomes and forward Alisson Santana earned their first senior call-ups, with their club teammates celebrating the news. Defender Jonathan Jesus of Cruzeiro also received his inaugural selection.
