Members of Vasco da Gama have approved the sale of the club's SAF to Almirante Participações S/A, a company controlled by Marcos Lamacchia. The vote results in the transfer of 90% of the shares that manage the club's football operations.
This transaction alters the previous ownership structure established in 2022, when 777 Partners acquired 70% of the shares while the social club held 30%. Following this latest sale, the social club's stake in the SAF is reduced to 10%.
Club president Pedrinho celebrated the approval of the sale, stating that the move resolves the club's debt issues.
