- Vasco and Boca Juniors meet for the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana semifinal at the Maracanã.
- Vasco holds a 1-0 aggregate lead following their victory in Argentina.
- A draw is sufficient for Pedro Emanuel's side to reach the final.
Vasco and Boca Juniors will decide the first finalist of the Copa Sudamericana this Tuesday at 21:30 at the Maracanã. The Brazilian side enters the match with a 1-0 advantage secured during the first leg at La Bombonera.
A draw will be enough for Pedro Emanuel's team to progress. Should Boca Juniors win by a single-goal margin, the tie will be decided by a penalty shootout. Vasco heads into this fixture following a 1-0 defeat against São Paulo in league play last Saturday.
While Boca Juniors has historically performed well against Brazilian clubs in Libertadores finals, their record at the Maracanã is less impressive. The Argentine club has previously suffered a significant defeat at the venue against Vasco.
