- Ruan Tressoldi received a warning from the STJD for an incident with Gabigol.
Flamengo midfielder Erick Pulgar and Fluminense president Mattheus Montenegro were unanimously acquitted by the Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) on Thursday morning. Pulgar had been reported for violent conduct during a match against Fluminense, while Montenegro faced accusations regarding sporting ethics and discipline.
Separately, the Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) rejected a request from the Flamengo and Fluminense consortium to suspend the Copa Sudamericana semifinal between Vasco and Boca Juniors at the Maracanã. Following the court's decision, the match remains scheduled for October 20 at the venue.
In another ruling, defender Ruan Tressoldi was issued a warning by the STJD for entering the pitch following Atlético-MG's 2-1 victory over Santos. Tressoldi confronted Santos forward Gabigol, who had provoked home supporters by kicking a corner flag featuring the Atlético-MG emblem.
