Club president Ángel Torres confirmed in an interview with the 'Tablero Deportivo' radio program that he has held discussions with René Ramos, the brother and agent of the 40-year-old defender. Ramos has been a free agent since his departure from Mexican side Monterrey at the end of 2025.
Meanwhile, Dani Carvajal is in contention to make his debut for the club this Monday against Rayo Vallecano. Manager Bordalás has kept his selection plans private, stating that a final decision regarding the defender's participation will be made shortly before kickoff.
