Fluminense president Mattheus Montenegro found an alternative way to support his team while under suspension by the STJD. On Saturday, he watched the match against Chapecoense from the stands at Arena Condá, sitting among the small group of visiting supporters present at the venue.
The official was sanctioned last Thursday following a ruling by the court. He received a 15-day suspension for making disrespectful complaints regarding the officiating after the Brasileirão match against Flamengo in the 30th round. As a result of this penalty, he is currently prohibited from performing his official duties.
