Flamengo has arrived in Salvador ahead of their match against Bahia this Sunday at the Arena Fonte Nova. The delegation reached their hotel on Saturday evening, where they were greeted by dozens of supporters. The team's departure from Rio de Janeiro was delayed by approximately one hour because of heavy traffic between the Ninho do Urubu training center and the airport.
Despite the travel delay, several players, including Rossi, Alex Sandro, Jorginho, Paquetá, and Pedro, took time to interact with the waiting fans. The squad enters the 31st round of the Campeonato Brasileiro with five confirmed absences. Additionally, discussions regarding goalkeeper Rossi's contract renewal continue following a recent meeting with his representative in Argentina.
