  • The club is now seeking 45 million BRL in outstanding debts from other teams.

Cuiabá has fully settled its debt of approximately 5.5 million BRL to Portuguese coach Petit and his coaching staff. The payment was made to comply with a ruling issued by FIFA that resulted in a transfer ban for the club.

In an official statement released on Thursday, the club confirmed the settlement, noting that the funds were sourced from their own resources. The club indicated that this expenditure has significantly impacted their financial standing for 2026.

Alongside the announcement, Cuiabá used the opportunity to demand action regarding 45 million BRL that the organization claims is still owed to them by other Brazilian football clubs.
