Botafogo arrived in Porto Alegre on Friday evening ahead of their 32nd round Campeonato Brasileiro clash against Internacional. The match is scheduled for Saturday at 16:30 local time at the Beira-Rio stadium.
The visiting side sees the return of midfielder Edenilson to the squad list. Edenilson had been sidelined since early October after suffering a right thigh muscle injury during the team's defeat to Mirassol. Despite the boost in personnel, coach Tite is expected to stick with the core of his starting lineup for the fixture.
Both teams enter the match with challenging recent records. Internacional has secured only two victories in their last 15 matches, while Botafogo maintains a 38% success rate over the same period. As visitors, Botafogo has managed only one win in their previous eight away games.
