Alex Scott has stepped down from her position as a presenter for Disney+'s coverage of the Women's Champions League. It is understood that the decision was made by Scott herself to enable her to dedicate time to other projects.
Among these commitments is her new show, One More Word WSL, which she hosts alongside former England internationals Anita Asante and Fara Williams. Scott had fronted the streaming platform's coverage of the premier European women's club competition since the broadcaster acquired the rights.
The departure follows a period in which Disney+ faced criticism regarding the opening round of the current season.
